G'day everyone, I'm seriously keen on a Toyota Hilux I spotted on afautoplus.com – looks like a cracker, a 2019 dual-cab, perfect for the farm. Only snag is, I'm way out in regional WA, and AF Auto Plus is based in Brisbane. I've read about their interstate transport, but I'm a bit nervous about getting a vehicle delivered such a long distance, sight unseen until it arrives. Has anyone here bought from AF Auto Plus in Queensland and had it shipped all the way to Western Australia or another far-flung state? How was the delivery process? Did it take ages? Was the truck driver careful with the ute? I'm imagining it rocking up on a flatbed, but you never know. Just want to make sure it arrives in the same condition it left. The sales agent I spoke to was helpful, explaining the 10-day inspection period and all, but I'm after some real-world experiences from you lot. Cheers for any advice!

Yeah, I had a Toyota Hilux delivered to a farm near Geraldton, WA. Took a bit longer than a local delivery, but the Sales Agent at AF Auto Plus kept me updated the whole way. No worries, mate.

How was the condition of the Hilux when it arrived? Was it pretty much what the inspection report said? I'm keen on a Ranger from afautoplus.com but worried about buying sight-unseen for a long haul.

Bloody spot on! The inspection report was accurate. Had a couple of minor scuffs not detailed, but nothing major. The 10-day inspection period gave me peace of mind.

I'm looking at a dual-cab ute from the AF Auto Plus Auction for my small business in Bunbury. Did you have to organise the transport yourself or did they handle it all from Brisbane?

They organised the transport for me, included in the total price after I won the bid and paid the deposit. Made it super easy, especially with the distance to WA.

Regional WA delivery sounds like a nightmare for rego. Did you have any issues transferring the Queensland rego to WA? Or was it all handled by the auction?

The Sales Agent explained the whole process for WA rego before I even confirmed the purchase. Had to get a local inspection here, but they provided all the necessary paperwork from their end.

Anyone had a family wagon delivered further out, like Kalgoorlie? Wondering if the transport costs get astronomical for those really remote areas.

I got a Prado delivered to Port Hedland. The transport cost was factored in, but honestly, even with that, the price was way better than what I'd find at a local dealership for the same model. Check afautoplus.com for their listed prices.

The communication from the AF Auto Plus team really makes a difference for regional buyers. They were responsive and clear about every step, from the deposit to the delivery schedule. Good peace of mind.
